A decadent slowly fermented enriched loaf, made with plenty of free range eggs and cultured butter resulting in a luscious rich loaf. Traditionally a breakfast bread it makes the best toast, thickly sliced, but also works well with sweet or savoury. If it lasts long enough also makes the best ever bread and butter pudding.
