Did you know fermenting is one of the most ancient food preparation techniques there is. Fermentation goes back to 2400BC, in Mesopotamia. Ever since it is practised all over the world.
If you are keen to gain a glimpse into the world of fermenting and understanding of the nutritional benefits to be gained, then come and join us. Absolutely no experience required. You will learn about the basic science and safety of lacto fermenting vegetables.
You will make a variety of fermented goodies, and take home a jar of each:
Light lunch, refreshments, including previously fermented vegetables and lovely sourdough bread will be provided. Please do let us know of any allergies or intolerances
